Henry misses Wembley final

Posted on: Fri 15 May 2009

Royals winger James Henry helped Millwall through to the League One play-off final last night - but his loan has now come to an end and he cannot play at Wembley.

Millwall drew 1-1 at Leeds to secure a 2-1 aggregate win, and Henry, 19, played 86 minutes at Elland Road.

Henry's loan at the New Den ends today, and we will be unable to face either Scunthorpe or MK Dons in the final.

Another loanee Sam Sodje also played last night, and won a penalty for Leeds in the second half, but Jermaine Beckford saw it with the scores at 0-0.

Sodje, 29, has already played at Wembley in a play-off final in his career, lining up for West Bromwich Albion while on loan there a couple of years ago.
