Chairman Sir John Madejski will ensure the Club makes the right appointment in the search for a new manager.
The process of finding a new boss is underway and Sir John has stated that the Club will leave no stone unturned when looking for our next manager.
The upcoming 2009/10 season sees the second and final of our parachute payments following relegation from the Premier League, and as a result the Chairman is keen to see the Royals enjoy success once again.
He said, "I make no secret of it, getting the right manager is crucial and that's why we will do things correctly. We won't rush, we will take due process to do it.
"This Club has got a lot going for it, we have a vibrant Academy with a lot of talent. We're in a very good position going forward. I don't see those wheels coming off but it is fundamental we appoint a new manager. This next appointment is crucial and that's why we take it seriously.
"We now need a renaissance, and we will start rejigging in a way to go forward. We have fantastic facilities and I am sure we will attract the best manager to come here."
