Reading FC are very disappointed to announce that Head Of Communications Andy West has decided to leave.

Andy joined when the Club moved to Madejski Stadium in the summer of 1998, and has overseen the development of our media department, coinciding with the increased profile of the Club's image.

He is leaving to pursue freelance work, and will remain in his position with us until the end of this month.

Chief Executive Nigel Howe said, "I would like to thank Andy for all his hard work during his 11 years with the Club.

"Myself and all at the Club would like to wish him the very best for the future."
