Church earns Wales call-up
Simon Church has been called into the senior Welsh squad for the first time.
The 20-year-old striker could make his debut in a friendly against Estonia at Llanelli on Friday 29th May, and will then hope to remain in the slimmed-down squad for the following week's World Cup qualifying trip to Azerbaijan.
The call-up caps a remarkable end to the season for Church, who made an impressive full Reading debut in the play-off semi-final visit of Burnley.
He had previously done well during a loan spell at Leyton Orient, having developed his reputation with goalscoring performances for Wales' under 21s earlier in the season.
