The Club can confirm that defender Sam Sodje is leaving Reading after his contract expired this summer.
Sodje joined the Royals from Brentford in the summer of 2006, but only made 5(+3) appearances in three years.
During that time the 30-year-old spent loans with West Brom, Charlton, Watford and Leeds United. He played in the Wembley play-off final for West Brom in 2007 and the play-off semi-finals with Leeds this season.
Director Of Football Nick Hammond told reading.co.uk, "I would like to wish Sam all the best for the future.
"He has not been able to play as many games as he would have liked for us, but he now has the opportunity to find himself a new home in the game and good luck to him."
