Chief Executive Nigel Howe is confident that a number of Academy graduates can help us to success next season.
Last year the Royals gave more debuts to Academy players than in any other campaign in the Club's history, and we have also offered new contracts to a group of youngsters.
Scott Davies has already signed his new two-year deal, while Oliver Bozanic and Ben Hamer have also been offered an extended stay at Madejski Stadium.
On top of that, Simon Church ended the season on a real high with a first Reading start and a debut for the full Wales team, so the signs are good for our young professionals.
Howe told readingfc.co.uk, "There are a group of eight or ten players here who can easily produce good performances for us here next year.
"I would like to think that they will do that and really come through into our first team.
"You only need to look at the record of the clubs they have been out on loan at to see how well they have been doing.
"In fact, many of those clubs have wanted to keep the players and it shows the depth that we are producing."
Hamer won League Two's Puma Golden Glove award after keeping the highest number of clean sheets in that division, helping Brentford to the Championship.
Davies scored 14 goals on loan at Aldershot, while Bozanic got valuable experience at Woking and is currently away with Australia's under 20s.
