Royals ready for toughest test

Posted on: Tue 28 Jul 2009
The Royals face the final and most difficult test of their Swedish pre-season tour when they take on Qviding FIF at 7pm local time tonight.

Brendan Rodgers' men face a Qviding side who are in the second flight of Swedish football, and our manager may be able to call upon James Harper for the first time on this tour.

Harper will train this morning and his calf injury will be assessed ahead of the game; with the possibility of a 20 or 30-minute runout when the match comes around.

Brendan has no other new injury worries to contend with, and Kalifa Cisse is also likely to come back into consideration after missing Saturday's match with a shoulder injury picked up in the first match.

Check the official site tonight for a match report and photographs, with exclusive video highlights to follow on the all-new Reading FC Player.
