Matchday events explained

Posted on: Mon 10 Aug 2009
Supporters may have noticed a couple of additions on Saturday when we hosted Nottingham Forest in our first game of the new season.

As the two teams came out onto the pitch, they were welcomed by a guard of honour, formed by young footballers from the Pembroke Hamilton club in Bermuda.

The youngsters were here as part of our brand new group ticketing scheme, offering discounted tickets to large groups, both young and old. Full details of the scheme are available here and your group could be on the pitch at Madejski Stadium if you book in time.

In addition, Hamilton youngsters also showed their skills in a half-time penalty shoot-out, and this experience is also available to groups on our ticketing scheme.

At half time you may have noticed the return of the Domino's Pizza draw, with lucky supporters getting their hands on a half-time meal!

Also at half time was our usual Golden Gamble draw, with new signing Matt Mills picking one lucky ticket out of the hat.
