New boss
Brendan Rodgers is happy with his team's development, but freely admits he is looking for a marked improvement in the final third.
The 0-0 draw at Swansea made it two clean sheets in two League games, so Brendan is comfortable with our defensive attributes but wants more penetration and threatening play at the other end of the field.
He said, "At Swansea we were resilient and determined, defensively we were very good. Coming and getting a point doesn't mean we're overly happy, but they are a good side.
"The area we need to improve is higher up the field. We've kept two clean sheets in three games but not scored a goal yet, we need to be better with the ball, and we will be.
"It's only our third game but we will improve. Our vision will get better all the time, we're only five or six weeks into a total change."
Asked if we will bring in a new player to help him in the final third, he said, "We need some more possibilities up the field, for sure, we need other options in the final third so I hope this week we can do that."
