The Royals were denied a victory at home to Watford this afternon when Danny Graham's leveller cancelled out Grzegorz Rasiak's 7th minutes opener. We had live updates here so see how it all happened below.

2.12pm The teams are in and the big news is that Ivar Ingimarsson returns to the Royals' line-up as vice-skipper Alex Pearce drops out of the squad. And Jobi McAnuff makes his Royals bow this afternoon against the side he signed from!

Jem Karacan and Jimmy Kebe are reinstated to the starting eleven, which has four changes from the team that started against Peterborough last weekend. Jay Tabb receives a place on the bench, but Marek Matejovsky and Kalifa Cisse miss out.

Watford are unable to name Heidar Helguson in their squad for this afternoon's clash, so Danny Graham will continue as a lone striker, supported by Henri Lansbury.

2.56pm - The two teams come out to a good reception - the Royals led by Ingimarsson. The away supporters are very vocal and they hurl a few chants Brendan Rodgers' way when he emerges from the tunnel.

2 mins - Good work from McAnuff down the left sees him fizz a low cross into the box. It's behind Sigurdsson who gets a touch to tee it up for Howard, but the midfielder's effort flies just over the bar.

3 mins - McAnuff brilliantly beats his man on the left and crosses into the middle. It's cleared but sent back in by Bertrand towards Rasiak. He nods it goalwards but Loach superbly saves. Rasiak battles for the aerial scraps and it falls to Sigurdsson who's instinctive toed effort beats Loach but grazes the left post. Reading are desperately unlucky not to be leading.

7 mins - GOAL! McAnuff makes progress down the left and it's crossed in by Sigurdsson. Rasiak takes a great first touch away from his man and smashes it high into the net with a left footed finish from 10 yards out.

11 mins - Watford enjoy a couple of corners which Reading struggle to clear. It ends in a 22-yard effort from Craig Cathcart that skews well wide.

15 mins - McAnuff wins a free kick which is taken quickly and spread out to Kebe on the right. He crosses from near the byline and Loach has to dive to push it away from Rasiak at the near post.

21 mins - Kebe does well to dispossess Doyley on the byline and he touches it back for Cummings to cross. He does so to the far post, where Rasiak rises high and nods goalwards but over the bar and onto the roof of the net.

35 mins - A the last ten minutes have gone on, Watford have looks stronger and Graham drives at goal from 22 yards out and it skids inches wide of the bottom left corner. That was close to an equaliser.

37 mins - Kebe feeds the overlapping Cummings down the right and the full back stands a good cross up for Rasiak at the far post, He nods it goalwards but it's straight at Loach.

38 mins - From 25 yards out Howard tries a speculative shot on the turn and Loach has to dive full stretch low to his left to save it. He gathers the loose ball before it dribbles behind for a corner too.

45 mins - Two minutes of injury time are to be added. Watford's move breaks down when the offside flag is raised.

HALF TIME - The Royals lead at the break. Can they hold onto it this time?

46 mins - Graham wins a dubious free kick in a tangle with O'Dea. A shot fizzes through the Royals wall but harmlessly through to Federici on one bounce.

50 mins - Reading work it well fro right to left and Howard finds Bertrand in an advanced position on the edge of the box. He shoots but lashes it high and wide of the top left corner.

53 mins - Somehow Reading still lead. A long throw is headed clear of the Royals box and Lansbury powers it back through a crowded area. It takes a deflection and a toe end from a Watford boot but amazingly Federici manages to push the effort against the underside of his crossbar with his legs and gather at Watford feet seconds later. Reading had a little luck there.

Royals sub: Sigurdsson is replaced by ex-Hornet Brynjar Gunnarsson.

55 mins - McAnuff cuts inside from the left and drills a shot from just inside the area wide of the top right corner. Worth a go.

57 mins - Bertrand crosses from the left and Rasiak is towering over Cathcart to head it goalwards. It skids just the wrong side of the left post though.

60 mins - Gunnarsson battles past one man and through another challenge on the left side of the box. He gets to the byline and stands a cross up but it's headed clear. Howard watches it drop but volleys well wide.

63 mins - Watford sub: Nathan Ellington is on for Lansbury.

67 mins - GOAL! A long ball is floated forward and O'Dea and Federici leave it for each other. Graham ghosts in between them to nod over Federici and into a gaping net.

69 mins - Royals sub: Noel Hunt is coming on for McAnuff who is roundly booed by the away fans but who has made an impressive start to his Royals career.

70 mins - Royals sub: Hal Robson-Kanu replaces Howard.

73 mins - Rasiak turns his man and chips a cross towards the far post. But there's no-one there to get a head on it and it sails behind for a goal kick.

76 mins - Nathan Ellington is booked for preventing Federici from kicking clearly quickly, but it's to Reading's detriment because Federici did still get his kick away and Noel Hunt was in a good position on the break.

79 mins - Robson-Kanu steps in to dispossess Watford on the right and he edges in from the wing to drive goalwards from the edge of the box. Loach is behind it well to save though.

81 mins - Ellington races down the left and beats Ingimarsson to shoot low towards the near post. Federici makes sure and touches it behind for a corner which is headed clear.

82 mins - Hunt touches it back to Kebe on the left side. He delays his cross but eventually whips it in dangerously and Hunt glances it over Loach but just over the bar too.

85 mins - RED CARD! Ellington goes in late on Karacan on the Royals' right wing. He's already been booked and the referee has no option but to show him a second yellow. He's been sent off.

87 mins - Watford sub: Cleverley is replaced by Jon Harley.

89 mins - The away team are wasting as much time as possible now.

90(+1) mins - Rasiak hurls himself at a dinked cross into the box but it bobbles off a Watford player and into Loach's grasp.

90(+2) mins - Rasiak's knockdown is picked up by Robson-Kanu who passes it into the middle. Cathcart just gets there first to turn it over his own bar.

FULL TIME - Reading and Watford share the spoils. Reading will be the more disappointed having led at home for an hour and having conceded a very soft equaliser. But the Watford fans go away without the win they desperately wanted.
