Post-match huddle explained

The Royals broke into an impromptu huddle after the 2-1 win at Preston this week, and boss Brendan Rodgers says it shows just how close the bond is between our players.

It was a very impressive win for Rodgers' men, and they showed both sides to their game, terrorising the home defence in the first half by going into a 2-0 lead and then standing tall in the late stages to .

Brendan said, "The spirit here is fantastic.

"The circle is always a symbol of togetherness and it's great for the players to feel that, we want more than that, and it also shows the supporters our togetherness.

"We had two players Alex Pearce and Hal Robson-Kanu who trained on Tuesday morning and then drove up to be with the group. That shows you the mark of the group, they've driven four and a half hours to be with their teammates. Everyone is part of the growth."
