Saturday's match winner Grzegorz Rasiak is determined to continue his goal-scoring form, after heading home his fourth of the season in the 2-1 victory over Blackpool.
The Polish international came off the bench to notch the afternoon's crucial goal, and now has his sights firmly set on a successful return to Pride Park this weekend.
"I've played for a few clubs in the Championship and I think that we can do very well, and get even better," he said.
"I said that I can score 15 goals this season, that's my target. Six starts and four goals is not bad, but it will be better. I'm looking forward to the Derby trip because I've scored most of my goals at Pride Park."
Rasiak signed for the Royals this summer after impressing Brendan Rodgers during the pair's stint at Watford, and the 30-year-old has reiterated his respect for the current Reading chief.
"One of the main reasons I came here was because of the coaching staff, I know the way Brendan likes to play; we just have to keep going, work hard and win the games. We played well today, we changed the system a little bit but I'm so pleased that I could come on the pitch and score a goal.
"We've got great wingers, Jobi was outstanding and Jimmy did really well but had to come off because of injury. We played very well."
