Brian McDermott will be hoping to add a touch more experience to his squad during this January window.

He said, "We've got one or two positions where we think we can strengthen and maybe we can use the loan market. We'd like to bring some experienced heads in."

He would then be eligible to play for the first team, although he is not available for the Liverpool replay because he was not signed for the original tie.
