Palace away game put back
Posted on: Thu 04 Feb 2010
The Royals' Coca-Cola Championship away fixture at Crystal Palace has been put back 24 hours and will now be played on Wednesday 17th February, kick off 8pm.
This match was originally scheduled for Tuesday 16th February, but Palace have progressed to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup and will face Aston Villa on Sunday 14th February, so the subsequent League game at Selhurst Park against the Royals has been put back a day.
The club have also announced other fixture changes in the past few weeks:
We play West Brom at home in the FA Cup at 3pm on Saturday 13th February, and as a result of our progression to the Fifth Round, our home league game with Derby County, previously scheduled for that same Saturday, has been rearranged for Tuesday 9th March, 8pm kick off. Season Ticket holders were offered the opportunity to bring a friend half price for the Derby game, and those tickets will remain valid for the rearranged date.
If we require a replay against West Brom, our trip to the Hawthorns would take place on Wednesday 24th February, kick off 7:45pm. This would mean our already rearranged home meeting with Newcastle United (currently scheduled for 8pm on 23rd February) would need to be moved again.
The Leicester away fixture has been put back 24 hours and will now take place on the evening of Wednesday 24th March, 7:45pm as the Foxes are on TV the previous Sunday.
Lastly, our trip to Doncaster Rovers this coming Saturday is of course a 5:20pm kick off because it has been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.
