Jobi aims to continue winning streak
Jobi McAnuff has revealed that the squad are determined to continue their winning streak, as they welcome Plymouth off the back of two successive Championship wins.
Victory over Barnsley ten days ago was followed by the defeat of Doncaster on Saturday evening, and the former West Ham winger says confidence is as high as ever at Madejski Stadium.
"For us back to back wins is a massive thing and if we are going to get out of this situation we must put results together," he said.
"On Saturday we did all the basics well, we worked hard and from that point of view we deserved something from the game even if it wasn't one of our better performances.
"Wins help matters, the confidence has always been good because generally we've played well - but at the same time when you get the wins it obviously helps, we're winning more games than we're losing at the moment so naturally the confidence is there."
McAnuff was part of the Royals side that fell to a 4-1 defeat to the Pilgrims in the last game of the footballing decade, and the midfielder has confirmed that his teammates want to rectify that disappointment on Tuesday evening.
"That was one of our worst performances of the season, the supporters had gone a long way to watch that and we were very disappointed with ourselves.
"We felt we'd let the club and the fans down, so we have to take that on and make sure that we make amends for it by getting a result."
