Write a front page to be proud of

Posted on: Wed 24 Feb 2010

Turn this weekend's game into a front page to be proud of! This is your chance to write a report about a Reading FC home game and win a fantastic prize!

The Royals have once again teamed up with The Football League for a nationwide competition to find the country's best Junior Match Reporter.

The Club were delighted when Young Royal Sam Keogh won The Football League's 2008/9 Junior Reporter Competition for the Coca-Cola Championship, winning himself a trip to Wembley to report on the Play-Off Final for the Football League website!

Since then Sam (pictured) has written a regular article in the Young Royals Fanzine section of the official matchday programme this season.

This season's winning Young Royals Reporter will be selected by Reading Football Club's media team and their report will feature on the official website - www.readingfc.co.uk.

Plus, the winner will receive a signed matchday programme, an official certificate and goody bag from the Football League, and a link on the Football League website to the winning match report.

Reading FC's winning entry will then go forward to national judging for the chance to win a VIP media day out at Wembley with up to three family members at the 2009/10 Coca-Cola Championship Play-Off Final.

The winner will also be asked to write a report of the day to feature on www.football-league.co.uk.

To win this fantastic prize, all you need to do is write your report for one of Reading FC's fixtures this season and send it with your full name, age, customer number (if an existing Member Card holder), telephone number and postcode to youngroyals@readingfc.co.uk.

Or you can post your report to 'Young Royals Reporter Competition', Marketing Department, Reading FC, Madejski Stadium, Reading, RG2 0FL.

The Royals face Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday - and what better time to write your masterpiece. The deadline for all entries is Monday 15th March 2010.
