Armbands worn for Alexander

Posted on: Mon 08 Mar 2010
As a mark of respect for the late Keith Alexander, the Royals wore black armbands in the FA Cup quarter final with Aston Villa at Madejski Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Alexander passed away on Wednesday aged 53, hours after managing his Macclesfield Town side against Notts County in a Coca-Cola League Two fixture.

Keith was the first full time black professional manager in the English game, having also led Lincoln City and Peterborough United.
