Former Derby man
Andy Griffin believes the Royals are on the up at the moment and the team's belief is always growing.
We gave Aston Villa a real run for their money at the weekend and currently top the Championship form table as we approach this evening's home game with Derby, kick off 8pm.
He said, "We've got momentum, confidence and belief, particularly at home. We gave Villa a real run for their money and we're playing attractive football.
"As the manager says we take each game as it comes, we are playing well, and individuals are playing very, very well. We've got three games and home, we'll try to win them and keep going up the table.
Andy was asked about any potential points targets come the end of the season, and said, "I'd be foolish to say something, to be honest. We're on a fantastic run but we're only one point above the bottom three. But I will say this - we've got 14 games left and if we win all 14 we'll be safe!"
Griffin spent time at Pride Park, and has nothing but praise for the Rams. "It's a fantastic club, great support and great stadium. We found it hard in the Premier League, we couldn't get those wins but it's a great club."
