The place to be!

Posted on: Sat 13 Mar 2010

The Royals are in fantastic form at the moment, and Adam Federici rightly said after our thumping win over Derby County that Madejski Stadium is the place to be.

Since the turn of the year we have been the division's form team, and the stats make very interesting reading:

- If you'd been to Reading's last six home League games, you'd have seen us score more goals than either Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Celtic or Inter Milan - and as many as Barcelona!

- We are top of the form table in the last six matches, with an average of 2.5 points per game. Over the course of the season that form would put us top of the league.

- In the last six games we have the league's best goal difference of +10.

- We are unbeaten in six League games at home, and have not lost a League game at Madejski Stadium since the beginning of December. We have only lost two of our last 13 home games in all competitions.

- In the last six Championship home games only leaders Newcastle have scored more goals than us.

- Our form in the last six matches is at least one point per game better than any other side in the bottom half.

- We have taken nearly twice as many points from the last six games as this weekend's opponents Bristol City.

- In Jimmy Kebe and Shane Long we have the division's in-form goalscorers. Kebe has six goals in his last seven games, while Shane Long is red hot with seven in his last six appearances.

Tickets for this weekend's game with Bristol City and Tuesday's match with QPR are on general sale now to all Member Card holders. Telephone 0844 249 1871, use the online ticketing service or visit in person to book. Save up to £4 on every seat when you buy in advance.
