The club have commissioned a new display at Madejski Stadium and a number of historic shirts are now adorning the walls next to our Players' Lounge.
Jerseys from back in the days of Elm Park are mounted alongside more modern strips, and the display is of the highest quality.
Those on display include home shirts from 1963/5, a 1986 Michael Gilkes Courage jersey, a Simod Cup final away shirt, a 1995 embroidered Wembley kit, the last shirt from Elm Park, our first Premier League jersey, a Remembrance Day poppy shirt from this season and more besides.
Framing was carried out by Keeley's Framing of Kings Road, Reading, 0118 959 6961, and the club would like to thank them for the fantastic work they have carried out.
If you would like to see the shirts for yourself, they will form part of Madejski Stadium tours - book in advance on 0118 968 1211 / customerservice@readingfc.co.uk - prices £7 adults, under 18s £3 and £5 over 65s.
