Royals set for Chairboys friendly

The Royals have added a clash with Wycombe Wanderers to their pre-season calendar, with the friendly set to be played on Saturday 24^th July.

Brian McDermott's men will travel to Adams Park to take on the Chairboys, who will be plying their trade in League Two next season after their recent relegation from the third tier.

Kick off will be at 3pm with ticket details to be confirmed.

The two sides last met in Buckinghamshire in February 2002, when goals from Jamie Cureton and Darius Henderson gave the visitors a 2-0 victory.

Julian Kelly and Scott Davies both spent time on loan with the Blues this season, whilst Simon Church appeared in the Wanderers 2008/09 promotion campaign.

Reading will begin their pre-season schedule with a trip to Farnborough on Saturday 10^thJuly, whilst Wolves will visit Madejski Stadium on Tuesday 27^th July.
