Brian Howard has vowed to keep providing the chances for his teammates, ahead of the Royals' clash with Crystal Palace this Saturday.
The creative midfielder leads the club's assists chart this season, and his impressive set piece delivery played a huge part in the last gasp win over Leicester City at the Walkers Stadium.
"Against Northampton Millsy asked me to change my delivery slightly, it seemed to work nicely and at Leicester it was the same again," he said.
"I'm putting the balls into the box and the likes of Matt and Pearcey are attacking them well so if we continue to do that we'll get a lot of success.
"It's always good when defenders chip in and get their goals, we've got a few from them in the last few weeks and from my point of view it's nice to get a couple of assists. Hopefully I can chip in with a couple of goals myself too."
Howard has come very close to finding the net himself with free-kicks in recent games, though admits that he has plenty of competition on his hands when it comes to free-kick duties.
"I've come close recently; had a couple saved and one hit the bar- but we've got a free-kick specialist in Ian Harte come in now. I'm sure between us we'll give it a good go and see if we can get a few goals.
"Ian was training with Sheffield United for a few weeks when I was first up there so I have come across him before. We've all seen what a wonderful left foot he's got and with his experience he'll be a great addition to the squad."
