England under 21 international goalkeeper who is a product of Reading's Academy and a highly-rated young stopper.

As part of our strong stable of goalkeepers, he furthered his progress with a highly successful year-long loan at Yeovil, becoming their number one and playing 45 games in 2009/10.

His performances at Huish Park also earned him a new contract at Madejski Stadium until the summer of 2013, and he made his England u21 debut just days after putting pen to paper in August 2010; then immediately began a loan spell at Brentford before returning to be on the bench for our first team.

He enjoyed a superb spell in our team at the end of the 2010/11 season, making a string of outstanding saves and helpingus to the FA Cup quarter final. One save away to Everton was described by former England boss Kevin Keegan as 'one of the best saves you'll ever see.'

At the end of the season he gained further experience as part of England's squad for the UEFA U21 Championships.
