A no nonsense defender who signed his first professional contract with the Royals in the summer of 2011, after graduating through the Academy.
A Republic of Ireland under 19 international, Carl made his international debut in a 2-1 win over Bulgaria in October 2010 and has been a regular in the Emrald Isle's youth squads even since.
Began the 2011/12 campaign back in his homeland thanks to a loan spell with Dundalk.
