Youngsters' away win over Spurs

Posted on: Wed 10 Oct 2007

The Royals' under 18s earned a very good 2-1 win away to Spurs on Saturday.

We raced into a 2-0 lead after just 22 minutes.

Gary Frewen [pictured] rounded off a set piece with 14 minutes on the clock, then Clovis Kamdjo headed home another dead ball on 22.

Spurs pulled one back just five minutes later, but Reading saw the game out to take all three points.

Our boss Eamonn Dolan was taking on a team managed by Alex Inglethorpe, his successor as boss of Exeter City.
