The Royals' under 18s' season is now well underway, and we have drawn two and lost one in our first three fixtures of the campaign.
We began the year with a trip north to Huddersfield Town, but were on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline.
Eamonn Dolan's boys got themselves up and running in the next game though, with our international strikeforce of Ghana's Kelvin Bossman [pictured] and Bulgaria's Radoslav Vasilev on target in a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham.
We lost Norwegian youth international Alex Stockinger in the tenth minute, but readjusted well to take a point from the Cottagers.
This past Saturday we travelled to West Ham, and again Bossman was among the goals, this time after coming off the bench; notching in the 70th minute. Under 16s player John Goddard came on with 15 minutes to go for his first appearance of the season.
