Church will face England

Simon Church has been named in the Wales u21 squad that takes on England in a UEFA play-off.

The first leg is at Ninian Park on Friday 10th October, with the return game at Villa Park four days later.

There had been hopes the game would be at Wembley but the FA have opted to play in the Midlands instead.

Church has a good chance of starting, with Ched Evans and Sam Vokes stepping up to the senior squad.

Wales Under-21 squad: Owain Fon Williams (Stockport County), Rhys Taylor (Chelsea), Neal Eardley (Oldham Athletic), Grant Basey (Charlton Athletic), Darcy Blake (Cardiff City), Joe Jacobson (Bristol Rovers), Lloyd James (Southampton), Rhoys Wiggins (Crystal Palace), Nicky Adams (Leicester City), Joe Allen (Swansea City), Mark Bradley (Walsall), Jack Collison (WHU), Andy King (Leicester City), Shaun MacDonald (Swansea City), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), Jonathan Brown (Cardiff City), Simon Church (Reading), Josh Klein-Davies (Bristol Rovers).
