Academy are edged out

Posted on: Wed 16 Sep 2009

Despite two late goals from Jake Taylor and one from Abdulai Bell-Baggie, Eamonn Dolan's side couldn't egde their way past Gary Brazil's under-18s Fulham outfit last weekend in a 4-3 thriller at Motspur Park.

Both Welsh under-21 international Taylor and Bell-Baggie have now scored three goals in three starts for the under-18s, but their contribution wasn't enough to earn Dolan's side their first win of the campaign in London on Saturday.

Reading: Locke; O Kelly, D'Ath (White 60), MacDonald (c), Mills; Goddard (Walcott 60), Raymond, Baggie, Taylor; Rowe (Losasso 55), Harding
Subs: Arnold, Stockinger
