Newcastle in FA Youth Cup

Posted on: Fri 11 Dec 2009
Reading will face Newcastle at home in the fourth round of this year's FA Youth Cup.

We defeated Cheltenham in round three, and our reward is a home match against the St James' Park outfit.

The tie must be played by 16th January, and will take place at Madejski Stadium.

Meanwhile, u18s captain Angus MacDonald will be out for a few weeks after picking up an injury in the midweek win at Whaddon Road.

It was initially feared he may have broken his leg, but thankfully this is not the case.

You can watch the goals from the game in our full video highlights on Reading FC Player right now.
