Hammers or Rangers lie in wait

Posted on: Fri 08 Jan 2010
Reading's under-18s could face either West Ham or QPR in the Fifth Round of the FA youth Cup, should they beat Newcastle at Madejski Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Eamonn Dolan's men defeated Cheltenham in Round Three and are due to face the Magpies' youngsters on 13th January - and the winners have been handed an away tie against London-based opponents.

The Hammers and Rangers do battle on Tuesday 19th January so Reading or Newcastle will have to wait six days to know their fate. The Fifth Round tie must be played by 30th January.

Despite the snow, the Club are still hopeful that the Youth Cup Fourth Round meeting with Newcastle will still go ahead as planned at 7pm on Wednesday 13th January.

Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions and tickets are to be purchased on the day of the game - there will be no advance sales.
