Dolan's men hit four

Posted on: Mon 15 Feb 2010

The Royals made it three wins in a row with a 4-1 thumping of MK Dons at Hogwood Park.

Lawson D'Ath volleyed in the opener after just nine minutes, before some calamitous defending from the Dons two minutes after the break allowed Charlie Losasso to steal in and double the lead.

Harry Milton pulled one back for MK with a deflected shot just three minutes later, though hero turned to villain moments later as Milton gave away a clumsy penalty - allowing Andrew White to step up and slam home a third.

Lawson D'Ath bagged a deserved brace to complete the scoring with five minutes remaining - as Reading gained momentum ahead of a tough trip to Leicester City the following weekend.

Reading XI: Locke, Arnold, Isaac, Raymond, Macdonald, McHugh, Kelly, D'Ath, Ugwu (White 55), Obita (Partridge 82), Losasso (Morgan 67)
Subs: White, Partridge, Morgan, Goddard, Harding
