Royal Families present £105,000 to charities

The Royal Families fundraising group held a special presentation evening on Monday night, handing over more than £100,000 to local charities and good causes.

A series of fundraising activities were arranged by our players' wives and girlfriends last season, including a Fashion Show, Golf Day and Valentine's Ball.

The following presentations were made by Karen Murty and Amanda Hahnemann:

£30,000 to Berkshire Womens Aid
£30,000 to Parents & Children Together
£10,000 to Jumbulance
£10,000 to West Berkshire Mencap
£10,000 to Brookfields School
£5,000 to Reading Single Homeless Project
£5,000 to Fundraisingat Home-start
£2,500 to Daisy's Dream
£2,500 to Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust
