Supporters' Trust At Reading (STAR) is a fans' organisation. It is the successor to RFSC, which was founded in 1930, and is the official supporters' club for the Royals. It is run independently of the football club by a committee of volunteers.

What does it aim to do?
- To help the football club (this is our long-standing constitutional aim).
- To create goodwill for the club amongst actual and potential supporters by promoting support, better atmosphere and facilities for ordinary fans.
- To invest sums from our financial surplus for the benefit of specified club needs on request.
- To preserve and cherish the history of Reading FC, by acting as keepers of historic artefacts, and ultimately by creating and looking after a museum at the Stadium.
- To represent the views of the fans to the club and the media.
- To be a large, democratic and representative body.
- To be an accessible organisation, offering all members opportunities either to participate or to just belong.
- To pump-prime or to give to activities that will benefit RFC fans in general.
Why should I want to join?
If you're a loyal Reading fan, there's no real reason not to. It's your gesture of goodwill to the football club and your show of solidarity with your fellow fan. But, if you want real benefits, here's what we offer for just £10.

- Away Travel - STAR runs subsidised coaches to all away games for exclusive use of members only. Pick-ups at the Stadium and Station Hill.
