The Royals are on the lookout for volunteers to help with their 'Playing for Success' scheme, which aims to help youngsters improve their potential in the unique confines of the Madejski Stadium.

The course gives children from local schools the chance to work on their skills in numeracy, literacy and IT - and is helped by the vital support of voluntary workers.

Now the project is appealing for new members help bolster their services, who by giving up just two to three hours a week could help give a huge boost to education in the region.

All volunteers are required to complete a CRB check and will be asked to commit for a minimum of six weeks.
