Bus information
There are a number of buses from Reading and surrounding areas that run direct to Madejski Stadium.

• Buses from the greater Reading area, Reading town centre and Newbury are run by Reading Buses.
• Services from Basingstoke, Farnborough, Wokingham and Bracknell are subsidised by Reading FC and run by Stagecoach Buses.

Fare prices
Reading Urban services 70 - 76a and 78 (within the Greater Reading Urban Area)
Yellow Zone - Adult return £5, child return £3.
Blue Zone - Adult return £6, child return £3.50.

Services 77 and 79
Adult return £4, child return £2.50.
Return tickets issued by First Madejski Fasttrack service are accepted on this service.

Service 78 (boarding Newbury Bus Station to Pipers Way)
Adult return £7.50, child return £4.50.

Service 78 (boarding Colthrop Lane to Theale)
Adult return £7, child return £4.

Service 78 (boarding Calcot Sainsbury's to Madejski Stadium (yellow zone))
Adult return £5, child return £3.

All single tickets are 50p less, except 78 service from Colthrop Lane onwards which is £1 less for adults.

On matchdays
The first FastTrack-Madejski service will operate along with service 79 and stops under the old bingo hall at Reading Station while works are underway. Use stop MA at the Stadium for the return journey to Reading Station. Map here.

General bus info
Concessionary fares / exact change
Concessionary Pass Holders may travel free on football services on production of a valid pass. Travelcards, day & group tickets are not valid. Drivers do not carry change so please have exact fares prepared.

Kick off changes
The timetables published have details for games with 3pm kick off times When a fixture is moved, the timetable will move by the same amount of time. EG for a 1pm kick off, buses simply run two hours earlier than the 3pm kick off time.

Rail information
The nearest railway station to Madejski Stadium is Reading. From the station you can take a Fastrack Park & Ride service which brings you direct to the stadium seven days a week, including matchdays. Pick up is opposite the station in the old bus depot, underneath the bingo hall.

Please note that there is ample town centre parking for access to these buses - Garrard Street, Vastern Road and Broad Street Mall are all within easy walking distance of the Station Hill bus stop.
