Reading Football Club are delighted to announce the reappointment of RFC Women's Team Manager Frank Rodriguez.
After leading Reading's women to back-to-back promotions and covering the length and breadth of the country in guiding our girls through their first FA Tesco Women's Premier League campaign last season, Frank stepped down as manager to focus on other business interests - including the development of an indoor five-a-side football scheme called 'Futsal'.
During the summer, the FA sensibly reallocated the Royals into the Southern Division of this season's Premier League structure, easing the strain on the team's finances and recruitment efforts and also allowing Frank to recommit his time to the role of First Team Manager.
"Frank has already been instrumental in the development of women's football at Reading Football Club and without his involvement we wouldn't be where we are today," RFC Director of Women's Football Lee Herron explained. "His enthusiasm and dedication for women's football is exceptional and we are delighted he has been able to commit his time and his know-how to our 2009/10 campaign."
Rodriguez will resume his role immediately, but the Club would like to thank Tony Millstead for his pre-season work which has prepared the squad for another exciting Women's Premier League campaign.
