On Monday 18th February, 10 extremely lucky Young Royals competition winners visited Hogwood Park to meet the Royals stars!

On arrival the 10 winners were met by Kingsley and each handed a goody bag full of treats including a Reading FC flag, Merlin's Premier League sticker book, Match Attax cards and Chupa Chups lollies!
Before training started each Young Royal completed a quiz for the chance to win a Reading FC matchday programme signed by the Manager and players, with Kingsley picking the winner!
Kevin Dillon welcomed the Young Royals to Hogwood Park before explaining exactly what training the players would be doing for the day.
The young fans spent a couple of hours watching the first team in action and afterwards had the exclusive opportunity to meet the stars, obtain their autographs and even had the chance to take some photos!
At the end of the training session Adam Federici positioned himself in goal as each Young Royal stepped up to take a penalty, with some even managing to put one past the Australian keeper!

A fantastic time was had by all and the Young Royals thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to watch their heroes in action and then meet them afterwards!
