Shot-stopper who started within the Reading FC centre of excellence in the under-10s age group. From there, she had a spell at Queens Park Rangers before returning to Berkshire when she was 14.
She pushed through all the age groups and is now first team goalkeeper & captain. Not only that, but she also has represented the Republic of Ireland at under-17s, 19s and senior level.
Goalkeeper who has been within the centre of excellence since under-14 level. Hannah is part of our scholarship programme and plays for our reserve team and also makes appearances for the women’s first team.
Jess has recently only joined the club, after previous playing for Watford. She is part of the reserve squad but is striving to push into the first team squad.
Emily began playing for the Fulham centre of excellence, where she continued to play there after moving into their reserve team and then into their first team. She then joined QPR for a season before arriving at Reading FC Women. Emily also plays for Westfield.
Part of our scholarship programme, Bethany only joined the women's team last year. She originally played for Queen Bees and Dorset's centre of excellence before she played in our reserve team and then broke into the first team.
A product of our centre of excellence, Gemma went through the age groups she joined the Reading Royals. She then had spells with Fulham and Chelsea before re-joining Reading FC women, and is a part of both the first and reserve team.
Starting off playing for many different younger teams, Sophie played for Wiltshire County girls before joining the Reading girls centre of excellence.
She played throughout all the age groups until she joined the Reading FC Women’s team at the age of 16.
Defender who started within the centre of excellence set up and remained there throughout all age groups and is now in her sixth year within the women's team. Stacey has been with the women's team through all of their promotions and continues to be a first team player.
Central defender who joined our centre of excellence set up late, arriving from Southampton's centre of excellence. At under-16 level she joined Reading's centre of excellence and since then she has progressed into the reserve team for a year - but this year has excelled into the first team.
Harriet has been at Reading FC since under-12s, and has developed through all centre of excellence age groups since. She is now in her fourth year of playing for the women, and in the last two years has broken though to the first team. She has also represented the Republic of Ireland international team at under-17 level.
Starting off at Chelsea's centre of excellence, Lois joined QPR before going to the Arsenal centre of excellence. She also had a short spell at Watford but is now one of our first team players.
A newcomer to our scholarship programme, Lauren has been with Reading for the past two years. She started playing for our under-17 squad after joining from the Dorset's centre of excellence. She has now progressed into the women’s team and is now a reserve team player.
Charlotte joined our centre of excellence at under 12s and, like many of our academy players, she saw herself go through all age groups and progress into the women's reserve team. This season she has pushed herself into Reading FC Womens first team.
Midfielder who started playing for AFC Aldermaston in 2005 before joining our Academy at the under-12 age group. She has progressed through the centre of excellence, and is now making appearances for our first and reserve team. As she is still only 16, she also plays for our under 17s academy set up.
Stacie joined our centre of excellence late, only starting at under-16 level. After having a long spell at QPR, she has progressed into the reserve team and then into the first team after three years. She has also represented the Republic of Ireland at under-17 level.
Played for the first ever women's team that Reading set up, before joining Fulham. Charlotte had a short spell at Watford before joining Reading FC's women, and is now a first team player.
Francesca joined the centre of excellence at under 10 level, and progressed through all age group stages before signing for our women's team. She is now in her fourth season with Reading and continues to play for our first team and has scored a bundle of goals this season.
Alice joined the women's team last year, and is also involved in our scholarship programme. Before joining Reading she had played for Poole Town, beforing joining the Dorset centre of excellence. She is now a Reading FC women first team regular and recently received a call up to England's under-19 squad.
Joining the club on a loan deal from Chelsea last season, she has now joined the Royals permanently. She started out playing at Fulham's centre of excellence before joining Chelsea at under 16's - progressing into their reserve team and then into the Chelsea first team.
Now she finds herself playing for our first team and has also represented the England international team at under-15s, 17s and 19s level.
Amie started off her career at Reading Royals ladies, and remained there from 2001-2007 where she then joined Woodley United. She was with Woodley for five years before re-joining Reading and now currently plays in our reserve team.
Emma is part of our scholarship programme, and last year saw herself playing for our reserve team. This year, she has played for the women's first team and also has represented Wales under-17s and 19s international squad.
A newcomer to our women’s team, Deanna joined our scholarship programme and played football for Unity women’s side. This year she joined our women’s team and is now playing for our reserves.
After arriving at the centre of excellence at under-12 level, Melissa then progressed through all age groups before stepping up to the first team at the age of 16.
She has also made appearances for the England international squad at under-15 and 17 levels.
Rosa started off playing for Queens Bees FC, before moving to Yeovil in 2009. She then joined Pen Mill Ladies FC - but now has found herself a place within our women’s reserve team.
Beth started within our centre excellence before joining the Arsenal Academy at under 16 level. She then played with the Gunners until the under-18 age group, and then pushed into their reserve team squad.
She then got a scholarship out in America, where she played for the Central Connecticut State University - before then coming home to Reading FC.
Jess started off her playing career at the John Madejski Academy, once she had started on the scholarship programme. Once that was underway, she got involved with the Reading FC Women’s team and is now a permanent reserve team player.
