Experienced goalkeeper who has spent the majority of his career in the Premier League.

Came through the ranks at Arsenal and spent eight seasons under Arsene Wenger's Gunners. Despite operating as David Seaman's understudy, Taylor earned both a Premier League and FA Cup winners' medal during his time in North London.

Gained experience out on loan Bristol Rovers, Crystal Palace, Peterborough and Leicester City before moving to Aston Villa in 2005.

Despite saving a Wayne Rooney penalty for Villa, appearances were few and far between due to ever-present goalkeepers Thomas Sorensen and Brad Friedel, and went out on loan to Cardiff City before joining Manchester City in 2009.

Spent three seasons at City before singing for the Royals in summer 2012.
