Abbey's first involvement with his country came with England's Under-18s.
Andre Burley came through the ranks with Reading to make his first team debut for the Royals in 2019-20 - the centre-back was named in Mark Bowen’s back four for our FA Cup Third Round encounter with Blackpool in January 2020.
He went on to join Akin Odimayo in a loan spell with League of Ireland outfit Waterford FC until June.
