Hadland began his career with the Royals after joining up as a trainee at the age of 17, just a year before the club was granted with full Academy status by FA.
He made his debut for the first team just a month before his 18th birthday, a September Worthington Cup fixture against Barnsley at Madejski Stadium.
In August 2000 Hadland left Reading to join Rochdale, making 14(+21) appearances and scoring a brace of goals.
After one season with the Dale, he left the Spotland Stadium to join up with several other Football League clubs including Leyton Orient, Brighton, Carlisle and Colchester, before making the switch to non-league football in 2003.
Hadland ended his playing days in the Conference leagues playing for Leek Town, Northwich and finally Stalybridge, before allegedly hanging his boots up from the game a few years later.
