A Football League Trophy and League Two Champion with Mk Dons, a Championship runner-up with Brighton and a Bristol City Player of the Year; these are some of the accolades Baldock has been presented with throughout his career.
He started with Wimbledon before following the club’s relocation to Mk Dons in 2003. He spent six years with the Dons before moving to West Ham in 2011.
In that period, he played over a century of games and scored over 30 goals – notching the first and last of them against Norwich City, three years apart.
26 goals for Bristol City during 2013-14 landed the striker with the League One Golden Boot and a move to Brighton in the summer.
A dozen goals for the Seagulls, including one against Reading at the Amex, helped Brighton to secure Premier League status for the 2017-18 season.
After a debut top flight campaign, Baldock joined Reading the following season and debuted at Madejski Stadium in the season opener against Frank Lampard’s Derby County.
He scored a 90th minute penalty to open his account for the Royals in a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in August, one of five goals notched that season.
