Youngsters called up for countries

A number of young promising Royals have earned international call-ups for the Christmas period.

Goalkeeper Jon Henly, who has impressed for the under-21s this season, will be out on duty with Scotland's under-19s in early January for a training camp in Turkey.

Academy midfielder Conor Shaughnessy has recieved a call up to join Republic of Ireland's under-17s on their home soil, and is set to be involved against either Shelbourne or Dundalk.

Meanwhile, young English goalkeepers Luke Southwood and Lewis Ward are included in a group that will be at St George's Park in January for a dedicated goalkeeping training camp.

Congratulations and good luck to our young international Royals!
