The Royal Review!

28 December 2012

Programme takes a special look back

Matchday programme “The Royal” is taking a look back at a memorable 2012 for this Saturday’s clash with West Ham United.

Our official matchday magazine includes an eight page feature on one of the most historic 12 month spells in the club’s history – a fantastic souvenir for any supporter.

There’s also an exclusive column from Chairman Sir John Madejski, as well as the usual updates from Brian McDermott and captain Jobi McAnuff.

Other articles include a historical look at how some of our former managers have fared when returning to face the Royals (or Biscuitmen!) in the opposition dugout – and of course the usual array of quizzes, match reports and vital info.

And this season for the first time in Reading Football Club's history, you can read a digital replica of the matchday programme this weekend - you can even download Saturday's issue right now!

Whether you have a ticket to Saturday's game or not, you can feel part of the matchday experience by downloading the 84-page issue to your iPhone, iPad, Android, PC or Mac!

Just follow one of the links below and download the brand new App, which brings you every issue digitally, including back issues from our previous two play-off reaching and promotion-winning campaigns!

The App itself is completely free to download, and our first Barclays Premier League programme of this season is available for all to download free of charge – so why not test out the experience on your computer, tablet or mobile phone right now?

The App is designed to help those supporters who can’t make the match still get access to the programme and feel part of the matchday experience – so if you know supporters who are not local and can’t get to every game, let them know that everyone can now read ‘The Royal’ wherever they are in the world!
