Using the appeal of football and the power of professional clubs, Kickz works in some of the most disadvantaged communities across the country to create safer, stronger, more respectful communities through the development of young people's potential.

This work is built on the key fundamental elements of the Trust's mission statement - "We can have a positive influence through football" and utilises the hook of the professional game to educate others in a variety of innovative ways.

Our Social Inclusion work uses the football and the overall club name as a vehicle to tackle exclusion and problematic issues that occur within our communities.

Over the last few years, the work of the Reading FC Community Trust has fast evolved within the area of Social Inclusion, with hundreds of young people and adults accessing a variety of projects on a weekly basis.
Monday street dance sessions: Tilehurst Youth and Community Centre, RG30 4RR, 6pm - 7pm 
 
Monday football sessions: Cintra Park, Whitley, RG2 7AU, 7pm-9pm 

Tuesday football & alternative activities, Fairview Community Centre, 7:30pm-9:30pm 

Wednesday football & alternative activities: South Reading Youth and Community Centre, Whitley, RG2 7AQ, 7:30pm-9:30pm 

Friday football tournaments: Prospect Park, 4.30pm-6.30pm 

Friday football tournaments: Academy Sport Leisure Centre, Whitley, RG2 8DF, 7:30pm-10pm 

Sportiv8
Sportiv8 is a sports based course for young people aged 16 - 18 who are currently not in education, employment or training, with candidates working towards a variety of qualifications in the sports industry

The Prince's Trust Team Programme
A 12-week personal development course, offering work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects, Team Challenge and a residential week for young people aged 16 - 25.

Specialist Projects
Reading FC Community Trust deliver a variety of specialist projects, including the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, working in prisons and delivering educational and physical workshops on topics such as sexual health and anti-knife crime.
