Royals in the press

30 November 2012

Media mania ahead of United clash

As expected, the Royals have heavily featured in the media spotlight this week - as Brian McDermott's men welcome one of the most successful and popular clubs in world football to the Madejski Stadium tomorrow.

Brian McDermott did his usual media rounds this week - plus more. As well as his regular pre-match press conference, which can be viewed right now on Reading FC Player, Brian spoke to Football Focus - as well as the Independent.

Jason Roberts, no stranger to media and television, also interacted with the press this week as he talked to Danish television network SBS as part of the build up to the big game.

Reading striker Adam Le Fondre was put up to press this week - and spoke to various media outlets about the journey he has made from League Two to the Premier League, as well as the prospect of facing his boyhood club tomorrow evening.

Skipper Jobi McAnuff was also on hand for an interview - he spoke to ESPN, who will be televising tomorrow's match live, as part of their pre-match build up.

Don't forget Brynjar Gunnarsson too - the veteran midfielder, who scored at Old Trafford in 2007 incidentally, will be speaking to Radio Berkshire tonight from 6.15pm - make sure you give it listen!
