Events guide to Saturday's game
As always Madejski Stadium will be a hive of activity this weekend as the Royals welcome Everton.
There are a number of special guests at the ground, starting with a selection of Olympic stars from Team GB
- including rowing gold medalist Alex Gregory and local hockey hero Alex Danson!
The Reading FC Ex-Players Association are also represented, as three blasts from the pass come to cheer on their former club.
Tony Wagstaff, Mark Matthews and Simon Osborn boast 228 appearances between them, and will no doubt be warmly welcomed back to the club.
There’s the usual entertainment for our young (or young at heart) supporters – including the Royals Fun Zone, located by the training dome – which includes a number of interactive games to keep supporters entertained before kick-off.
Freestyler Matt Minnis will be there from 1pm to showcase his skills, and from 1.30pm he will be joined by Kingsley and Queensley - handing out Pannini Trading Cards!
Inside the ground the ever popular Master Blaster will be firing goodies into the crowd from 2.30pm, whilst the Reading Superstars Cheerleaders will perform on the pitch shortly before kick-off.
Finally – the North Stand concourse will be open for an hour after the final whilstle for those wishing to discuss the game over a drink (or two!).
