Royals stars feature in busy weekA number of Reading players have been busy in and around the stadium this week - and here's what they've been up to!
On Monday, the Royals trio of Jobi McAnuff, Garath McCleary and Hal Robson-Kanu were on hand inside the stadium's Megastore to pose for photos with supporters and sign autographs.
Manager Brian McDermott also popped along to the signing session to delight of the Royals supporters - many of whom stuck around the Madejski Stadium to watch the U21s beat Norwich 3-0.
Healthy eating workshops
Midfielder Mikele Leigertwood kicked things off on Tuesday by lending a helping hand at a healthy eating workshop next to the Dome - situated by the Madejski Stadium.
Our Social Inclusion Officer Gary Webb led the workshops in the afternoon - and, with the help of Mikele, taught and encouraged the children to eat a healthy, balanced diet.
Show Racism the Red Card
After that, Leigertwood joined up with his good friend McAnuff to take part in a Q&A with the children on the important issue of racism.
The two players joined a panel in the indoor training centre of the Dome to share their experience of racism in life and within football - and signed autographs after the interesting chat.
The pair talked about abuse suffered in years gone by and answered questions from the children in a very enlightening and educating Q&A style session.
And the appearances don't stop there! Watch out for which Reading stars will be on hand tomorrow at 4.30pm for the official opening of the Royals Oracle Shop!
Please note that the Megastore will be closed for refurbishment next Tuesday night (after the Arsenal game) and will re-open for the Norwich game on Saturday 10th November - so, while it's shut, head to the Oracle shop instead!
