Royals visit Berkshire County Show

25 September 2012

Kingsley and Queensley join in with the fun

The Royals took part in the Berkshire County Show at Newbury to join in with the fun amongst thousands of visitors at the annual show.
Kingsley and Queensley never like to miss out, and so swung by on the day to mingle with supporters at The Royals Fun Zone - and even found the time to test drive a Segway! The duo also went head to head in a mascot race, where Queensley took the spoils!
Meanwhile, football freestyler Matt Minnis dazzled onlookers with his skills - before teaching some of the younger fans some of his secrets.
The Royals merchandise unit was also in town and provided fans and visitors with the opportunity to purchase the latest official replica kit and training wear amongst other items.
To add to the fun, supporters had the chance to enter a special prize draw for the chance to win a shirt signed by the entire Barclays Premier League squad. The lucky winner was Young Royal Jack Freeman – congratulations!
We were also represented at the following day's show, hosted by Claire Balding, by under-12s Academy player Jake Pemberton - a member of the Olympic Torch relay.
