Hal fit and ready

26 April 2013

Injury update from Hogwood Park

Nigel Adkins told his pre-match press conference that Hal Robson-Kanu should be available for selection for Sunday's clash with Queens Park Rangers.

The Welsh international, who has five goals and five assists in the Barclays Premier League this season, has been sidelined since suffering a cut to his leg in training a fortnight ago.

However the clash with Rangers is set to come too soon for Adam Federici (ankle), Jimmy Kebe (groin) and Hope Akpan (ankle) - whilst Jason Roberts (hip) is still a long term absentee.

"I'm not sure Jimmy is going to be fit, but Hal Robson-Kanu has been on the training ground this week which has been good and he puts himself in contention for the weekend," said Adkins.

"Jason Roberts, Adam Federici and Hope Akpan won't be available."
